This was a blind buy, so I sprayed lightly at home before wearing it outside. The opening has Mate, Blackcurrant, but it calms down quickly instead of staying sharp. For a blind buy, this was a very good surprise.

I kept BYREDO Mixed Emotions Eau de Parfum in my work bag for a few days and used it like a normal person would. For this price, the balance between scent, bottle and service is honestly solid. Shipping was faster than I expected. It feels like a normal purchase, not a risky cheap perfume experiment. It lasted about 5 hours on fabric for me, softer on skin but still present.

Longer note: I am picky with perfumes that claim to be designer alternatives, because many of them open harshly. This one feels calmer. Mate, Blackcurrant gives the first lift, Ceylon Black Tea, Violet Leaf adds the character, and Birch Woods, Papyrus keeps it grounded. It is not exactly magic, just a very solid everyday bottle.
